Your space.
Our machines.
A check every month.
Stuffie Squad is a claw machine operator serving Birmingham, Alabama. We place, stock, and service machines inside family-friendly businesses across the Over the Mountain communities, and we pay you a flat monthly licensing fee for hosting. Here's how claw machine placement works.
The Model
A monthly check without the sweat.
Most amusement vendors offer a percentage of machine revenue. That sounds appealing until you realize what it means in practice: tracking someone else's sales, wondering if the numbers are right, and getting paid based on factors you can't control.
We do it differently. We pay you a fixed licensing fee every month for the space our machines occupy. The amount is agreed up front and it scales as machines are added. If the machines have a slow month, that's our problem, not yours. Your payment doesn't change.
You provide the space, an outlet, and wifi. We provide everything else.
What we handle
- Machines: purchased, installed, and owned by us
- Prizes: stocked and refreshed on our schedule
- Maintenance and repairs, on our dime
- Commercial general liability insurance, with your business named as additional insured
What you provide
- A visible spot with foot traffic
- A standard electrical outlet
- Wifi access
Why It Works
What the machines do for your business.
Claw machines earn their keep twice. The licensing fee is the direct return: guaranteed, monthly, for square footage that probably isn't generating revenue today. But the second return is the one our partners notice first: what the machines do to the room.
Kids ask to come back to places with claw machines. Families linger longer when there's something for the kids to do. A win turns into a photo, a name, a story told at school, and your business is the setting for all of it. That's the kind of word of mouth you can't buy with an ad budget.
Guaranteed monthly income
Paid by the 10th of every month, regardless of machine performance.
A reason for families to pick you
Differentiation that doesn't require changing anything about how you operate.
Zero operational burden
Your staff never touches the machines. We monitor them remotely and service them on our schedule.
Who We're Looking For
If families spend time in your business, we should talk.
Restaurants and eateries are a natural fit, but so are entertainment venues, family-oriented retail, salons that serve parents with kids in tow. Really, anywhere with steady foot traffic and a few square feet to spare. Our current focus is the Over the Mountain communities: Homewood, Vestavia Hills, Mountain Brook, Hoover, and the surrounding Birmingham area.
Two machines is a fine starting point for a first placement. Our real ambition is a larger installation of eight or more machines as a true in-store arcade destination. If you have the space and the traffic for that conversation, we're especially eager to have it.

Common Questions
What business owners ask us.
What does it cost my business to host your machines?
Nothing. This is the part that surprises people. We buy the machines, stock them, insure them, and maintain them, and we pay you a flat monthly licensing fee for the space they sit on. There is no scenario where you write us a check.
How do I get paid? Is it a revenue split?
No split. You get a flat licensing fee, paid by the 10th of every month, and it does not move with machine performance. If the machines have a slow month, that is our problem. We do it this way so you never have to track someone else's revenue or wonder whether the numbers are right.
How much space do the machines need?
Each machine is about the size of a vending machine, and it needs roughly that same amount of open space in front of it so players can step up and work the claw. Several machines can fit comfortably along a single wall, and a cluster of machines creates an immersive experience. When we walk your space, we will find the best spot together.
What do I have to provide?
A visible spot with foot traffic, a standard electrical outlet, and wifi access. That is the whole list.
Who handles maintenance, repairs, and restocking?
We do, entirely. Our staff is local to the Birmingham area, and remote monitoring on each machine tells us when something needs attention, usually before anyone at your business notices. We schedule service visits around your core business so there is no disruption to your customers or your staff.
What about insurance and liability?
We carry commercial general liability insurance with limits over one million dollars, and your business is named as additional insured on our policy. You receive a certificate of insurance during onboarding. Hosting our machines does not add liability to your business.
What happens if a machine breaks or a customer has a problem?
Remote monitoring usually flags issues before they become problems, and we commit to fast repair turnarounds when something does go down. If a customer has a complaint about a machine or a prize, send them our way. Your staff should never have to deal with it.
How long is the agreement, and what if it isn't working out?
Our typical agreement runs three years, which reflects the investment we make in equipment for your location. It includes a small early termination fee that protects that investment, but beyond that the terms are clean and simple. No fine print surprises, and we will walk you through every line before you sign.
What kinds of businesses do you partner with?
Anywhere families spend time. Restaurants, ice cream shops, entertainment venues, family retail, salons. Our current focus is Birmingham's Over the Mountain communities: Hoover, Vestavia Hills, Homewood, and Mountain Brook. We plan to expand to Tuscaloosa and Northport, and to Auburn and Opelika, in the future.
Do the machines take up my staff's time?
No. Payments are handled at the machine, monitoring is remote, and stocking and service are ours. Your staff's involvement is walking past the machines on their way to do their actual jobs.
How do the machines take payment?
For installations under five machines, each machine is equipped with a dollar bill acceptor and a card reader, so players can pay however they like. Larger installations of five or more machines add a self-service kiosk that issues reloadable RFID cards, which activate the machines and support a loyalty program.
How quickly can machines be installed?
Within weeks of a signed agreement. We will give you a specific installation date during the design step so you know exactly what to expect.
Do you customize the setup for my space?
Yes. Before anything is installed, we design a layout tailored to your space and traffic flow, including the machine mix, the footprint, and co-branding shaped around your vision for your business. The machines should feel like they belong in your space, not like they were dropped into it.
What's in the machines?
Quality plush and licensed prizes, refreshed on a regular rotation so there is always something new to win. We stock merchandise we would want our own kids to bring home, because what comes out of the machine reflects on your business too.
How much do plays cost for customers?
Between $1 and $4 per play depending on the merchandise inside, with most machines at $2. The $1 machines are win-every-time machines, so younger kids always walk away with something. The $4 machines carry high-end licensed merchandise like Disney and Nintendo.
Do claw machines actually bring in more customers?
We will not promise you a traffic number, because anyone who does is guessing. What we can tell you is what the machines reliably do: kids ask to come back to places that have them, families stay longer when the kids have something to do, and a win becomes a story that gets told with your business in it. That, plus a guaranteed monthly check, is the honest case.
Let's find out if it's a fit.
A conversation costs nothing. Tell us about your business and we'll come see the space. We'll bring the specifics.
